FEBRUARY 27, 2023
As the world becomes increasingly digital, the creator economy has boomed, leading millions of people around the world to turn to social media to become influencers. However, industry leaders have noticed a lack of opportunities for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) creators, leading to the birth of new talent management firms.
One is Clique-Now's very own CEO and Founder, MYLEN YAMAMOTO TANSINGCO. Alongside 13 other management firms, Clique-Now was chosen as a one of the top BIPOC-led talent management firm by Insider.
Mylen shared the wonderful and humble beginnings of Clique-Now. Founded 10 years ago with the goal of shining a light on some of her favorite creators by producing concerts and productions, negotiating brand deals, and more. Today, Clique-Now has curated over $10 million worth of deals and opportunities for their talent and communities.
With the world becoming more inclusive and diverse, Mylen recognized the need to give BIPOC creators the chance to shine. By providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed, Mylen and her team are creating opportunities that were once out of reach.
Clique-Now's success is not only a testament to Mylen's leadership and vision but also to the power of representation. When BIPOC creators are given the opportunity to showcase their talents, they can inspire others and help create a more inclusive and diverse world.
As we look to the future, it's clear that the creator economy is here to stay. With Mylen alongside other BIPOC management firms leading the charge, we can be confident that BIPOC creators will continue to have a place at the table and will be given the opportunities they deserve to shine.
Mylen Yamamoto Tangsinco’s success with Clique-Now is not only a triumph for BIPOC creators but for the entire creator economy. By providing opportunities and resources for underrepresented communities, Mylen and the team are creating a more inclusive and diverse world, one influencer at a time.
