The Clique-Now Executive Team Joined For a Day of Volunteering!

Clique-Now has had another busy month, and when it comes to giving back, the Clique-Now team knows no bounds. That's why the team was ecstatic to be invited to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank's Volunteer Event in June 2022 at 1734 East 41st Street in Los Angeles, California.

Standing by its purpose "#WeFeedLA Together", the LA Regional Food Bank is a non-profit organization that has been working to mobilize resources in the community to alleviate hunger since 1973. Their work is guided by a coalition of nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and businesses that have joined forces to address the problem of food insecurity in the area. The Food Bank regularly communicates with its representatives to ensure that they understand the problem of hunger in their respective districts, know what the Food Bank does, and understand how they can partner to address hunger in Los Angeles.

On the 11th of June 2022, our Clique-Now Executive Team, spearheaded by our very own CEO and Founder, Mylen Yamamoto Tansingco, together with Andrew Dinh (Senior Talent Manager), Kevyn Fong (Operations Manager), and Sarah Feret (Brand Partnerships Manager), spent the day sorting and packing produce for over 29,000 low-income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County. This was the team’s first time working with the Food Bank and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. The scope of their organization as well as the remarkable efforts they make to alleviate hunger in our neighborhood left us in awe and inspired us to take action. We are overjoyed to be working in collaboration with an organization that performs such important work, and we can't wait to expand our efforts further.
